Day 1

- The recommended flight from Lima to Iquitos is LATAM 2240, arriving in Iquitos at 12:20.
- We will pick up the passengers from the airport and do a short tour of the city, Iquitos, after which we will then transfer the guests to the port of embarkation at ‘Club de Caza y Pesca’ located in Bellavista, Nanay. The hour of estimated arrival is 13:20. Our skiff will then take you to our cruise boat, R & F Amazonas.
- Once all passengers are on board our Cruise we will immediately go up to the third deck. Our guide will explain the procedures for embarking and disembarking, safety procedures (emergency & evacuation), as well as general rules and activity programs.
- 14:30 Lunch is served in the main dining room.
- At 16:30 we will visit the ‘Kukama’ Native Community where we will learn about their culture and customs. You will have the pleasure to interact with this community: listening to their stories and watching their dance ceremonies. Also, you have the opportunity to buy some artisanal crafts made by the community.
- At 18:00 we return to the cruise. Passengers can rest in their rooms or enjoy our facilities and services aboard the boat.
- 20:00 Dinner will be served in the main dining room.
- 22:00 Sweet dreams!

Day 2

- 06:00 Begin sailing.
- 06:30 Wake up call.
- 08:00 Breakfast in the main dining room while sailing into the Amazon River towards Monkey Island.
- 09:30 We arrive to Monkey Island. We will hike in the Amazon forest to see different species of insects, birds, arachnids, trees, etc. On the island, we will have the opportunity to learn about different species such as: spider monkeys, squirrel monkeys, ‘mono choro’, coati, etc. We will also see sloth bears, toucans, and boa constrictors…among many others!
- 11:00 Explore the region of the Island.
- 12:00 Return to the cruise in our skiff.
- 14:00 Enjoy lunch while sailing north through the Amazon River.
- 15:00 Arrive to the Native Community ‘Yagua’. In our riff we will explore the surroundings of the Amazon river to find grey and pink dolphins, reptiles, and amphibians. Afterwards, we will take a short break to watch artisanal fishing and see the mythical river piranhas.
- 18:00 Return to the cruise. Passengers can rest in their rooms or enjoy our facilities and services aboard the boat.
- 20:00 Dinner will be served in the main dining room.
- 22:00 Sweet dreams!

Day 3

- 05:00 Wake up call.
- 05:30 Explore the Amazon River to do some bird watching and watch sunrise on our riff boats.
- 07:00 Breakfast amongst nature!
- 09.30 Visit the Native Community ‘Yagua’. We will walk until we arrive at our ‘maloca’ (Amazon hut) to meet the Chief of the tribe and the villagers. They will greet us with their traditional clothing and present to us a brief ceremony. Afterwards, they will teach us ‘servatana’, a technique used for hunting and self-defence.
- 11:00 Visit ‘Fundo Guerra’. Here we will learn the use of the sugar mill, which is used to grind the sugar cane and prepare traditional drinks such as spirits and molasses.
- 12:00 Return to cruise.
- 14:00 Lunch in the main dining room.
- 15:30 Leisure time. Passengers can rest in their rooms or enjoy the facilities and services on board the boat. We recommend some alternatives such as hiking in natures surroundings, taking pictures on our cruise, or simply enjoy the breathtaking scenery on the fourth deck.
- 18:30 Happy Hour.
- 20:00 Dinner in the main dining room.
- 22:00 Sweet dreams!

Day 4

- 05:00 Begin sailing to Iquitos
- 06:00 Wake up call.
- 08:00 Breakfast while sailing through the Amazon river.
- 10:00 Visit the San Rafael Butterfly Sanctuary where we will learn about the efforts to preserve this species and its reintegration into its natural environment.
- 11:30 Begin sailing.
- 12:00 Visit the Don Pedrito Fund. We will learn about the breeding of the ‘paiche’ (emblematic fish of the Amazon) and we will also see other kinds of reptiles (alligator), birds, amphibians, and turtles. We will do a tour inside the facilities.
- 14:00 Return to the cruise.
- 15:00 Lunch in the main dining room while sailing.
- 16:30 Arrive to Iquitos
- 17.30 The cruise is docked in the Nanay River in Santo Tomas.
- 18:00 Leisure time. Passengers can rest in their rooms or enjoy the facilities and services on board the boat. We recommend some alternatives such as, taking pictures of the sunset of the Momon River or explore the surroundings on our skiffs.
- 19:00 Return to the boat
- 20:00 Farewell dinner in the dinning room.
- 22:00 Sweet dreams!

Day 5

- 05:00 Wake Up call.
- 06:00 Breakfast. Passengers are asked to have their bags packed and ready for embarkation.
- 08:00 Disembarkation and transfer to the Manatee Rescue Centre.
- 09:00 Arrive at Manatee Rescue Centre
- 10:30 Departure to airport.
- 11:00 Farewell! Returning to Lima on flight LATAM 2241 departing from Iquitos at 13:15.
