Rivers & Forest Expeditions
We specialize in providing personalized and differentiated services to travelers who wish to commune with nature to learn more about the flora & fauna and the customs of tribal communities in the Peruvian Amazon. Our infrastructure has one river cruise vessel that can accomodate 26 passengers, 4 river skiffs and an embarkation port which will be ready to opérate by the end of July 2018. Additionally, our bilingual staff has ample experience –both locally and internationally- in cruise services and they are highly capable of providing the best customer service to our passengers from all around the world.
Our cruise ship complies with international construction standards and quality of services. The vessel has four decks in which you can find the suites, a dining room, an entertainment área and an open-air observation deck, ideal for those passengers who want to enjoy the sun and a panoramic view of the natural environment. The vessel can accomodate 32 passengers in spacious and luxurious suites, all of which contain wood finishes and panoramic views of the Amazon river and forest. The suites are classified in two categories: Presidential Suite (1) and Master Suites (12).
The Embarkation Port
The project is currently under development with an expected completion date of July 2018. The embarkation port will include a spacious reception area and waiting room where our passengers can enjoy a drink prior to boarding. The embarkation port will feature a bar, lounge, observation deck, parking lot, our offices and other services.

Founder & Business Manager
Professional with more than 20 years of experience in business administration and human resources, material resources management and interior design. She is an expert in conflict resolution and she has been in charge of various business projects in the service sector such as restaurants, consulting, among others.
Chief Commercial Officer
Professional with a degree in International Business Administration from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). With more than 8 years of experience in the Tourism Industry in many companies specializing in luxury cruises and eco lodges with operations in the Amazon region.
Cruise Director & Service Manager
Andrea began her career in the hospitality industry in 2009 at Walt Disney World Resort. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from San Ignacio de Loyola University, and prior to joining R & F Expeditions, Andrea has held the position of Assistant Manager in renowned restaurants in Lima. She has human resources experience in various industries as well. Andrea's primary emphasis has always been placed on creating and maintaining the highest standards of client service and relations, building a solid team and continuous improvement, which all ties into delivering first class operations.
Leading the innovative culinary team at R & F Expeditions is Executive Chef Giancarlo Regalado, a graduate from D’Gallia Culinary Institute. Before joining us at R & F, Giancarlo has held the position of chef in prestigious restaurants both in Peru and Argentina. He has spent a decade doing research on ingredients from the Peruvian Amazon, which has allowed him to discover a variety of new flavors, optimizing food resources as well as preserving nutritional value.
Giancarlo works side-by-side with R & F to promote environmental conservation and social contribution in the most vulnerable areas of the Loreto region, with a focus on preserving cooking traditions and cultural heritage of the local ethnic minorities.
Guides & Crew
Our talented team on board is comprised of four bilingual tour guides and integrated group of professionals with vast experience in cruise ships, cuisine, on-board services, food and beverages, housekeeping and technical operations. Furthermore, we have paramedics and permanent security.
